The CW has released the official description for the the fifth episode of the season, “Committed”, airing on October 16th.

The CW has released a few images from episode 8×04 of Smallville entitled, “Instinct”.
The CW has provided us (albeit a little late) with the promotional poster for last week’s season premiere, “Odyssey”. It’s a great looking piece and we hope to see more things like this in this season’s future!
The second episode of season eight airs tonight on the CW, entitled “Plastique”. Tune in at 8pm (7 central) for what promises to be a truly epic episode chronicling Clark Kent’s first day of work at the Daily Planet!
The CW has also released a director’s cut of the episode, available here, showing the first meeting between Chloe Sullivan and our charismatic paramedic, Davis Bloome! Not only that but Smallville executive producer Brian Peterson has a short video explaining the events of tonight’s episode that you can check out here!

We’ve been wanting to make this post here for a long, long time and today it finally comes to fruition!
After over a year of speculation, Smallville has finally made it’s way on to iTunes for people to enjoy over and over again. For just $1.99 an episode you can have a great copy of the newest season on your computer or iPod for your enjoyment over and over again!
I for one am extremely happy for this as it will make waiting on the DVD a little easier each year, and I’m sure you can expect to see previous seasons show up as well.
