After Sunday’s Smallville panel at Comic Con, the press was invited to sit down with the stars of the new season and discuss what they saw in the footage, and talk about what’s to come. Derek was on hand at the junket so check out the video below for some new spoilers. Smallville Season 8 Premiere Tonight!

The night is finally upon us. “Odyssey” kicks off the 8th Season of Smallville with a bang. Members of the Justice League return to start off the season in a big way. Many things will be changing in this season of Smallville. There will be some new faces, new show runners, new series regulars, and a new opening title. Clark will be taking one step closer to fulfilling his destiny, and taking on the challenge of dealing with duel identities!
Be sure not to miss this “Epic” event.

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE RETURNS TO FIND CLARK AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF THE FORTRESS; THE NEW CEO OF LUTHORCORP COMES TO TOWN — The Justice League, lead by the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley), hits the Artic in search of Clark (Tom Welling), who disappeared after the fortress collapsed. The team immediately has a confrontation with the new CEO of Luthorcorp, Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman). Meanwhile, Chloe (Allison Mack) is being held prisoner by a suspicious group who has discovered she has a new power, and Clark has been stripped of his powers by Jor-El.

Erica Durance and Aaron Ashmore also star. Kevin Fair directed the episode with the story by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders and teleplay by Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer.

Movie Night with John Schneider

Well we aplogize for the delay yesterday but we have a good excuse, we swear! Derek and I had to immediately hit the road after we recorded Episode 23 of SHoE yesterday so we could make it in time to Memphis, TN to meet John Schneider (Smallville’s Johnathan Kent) and check out his new movie Collier and Co. While we were there we took a few pictures and shot a quick video for you guys. All before heading back home and eventually getting some sleep at 3:00am this morning! It’s time to get psyched up because next week John is coming to Starkville! He’s agreed to come on our show and we’re spending the whole day with him!
