Starkville’s House of El Podcast

Reports of its death were highly exaggerated. “Starkville’s House of El: The Movie” (aka Episode 175) is a 2 hour documentary chronicling the story of Smallville, SHoE, and the friendships and stories that were born out of both. It’s our thank you to our listeners for five years of being there with us every week, and our final farewell to a show that kept us watching for ten years about a boy who became a Superman. The End.

There will be a lot of laughs and, undoubtedly, tears as we discuss the final episode of Smallville, which has been ten years in the making. We start at 11:30PM EST, but we plan on going late so west coasters, be sure to join us when Smallville goes dark for you. There will be plenty to discuss long into the night.

There will be 90 minutes in-between the finale and the live show on the east coast – plenty of time for you to film and email your Smallville/SHoE stories and memories to mail@smallvillepodcast.com – guys, we need a LOT of footage for what we are trying to pull off. Whether you’ve listened for one season, or been with us since the beginning, please take a couple of minutes with your iPhone, laptop, or digital camera and send us some footage to have a big close out with. We’d really appreciate it.

The CW Connect is a new way for the stars of CW shows to answer some fan questions that were submitted. So far, two stars of our own favorite CW show have been the subject of these short videos which are fun to watch as we ramp up to the 10th and final season of Smallville!

The first video is with Erica Durance as she answers questions about what Lois Lane will be up to this season, her favorite episode from Season 9, if we can expect to see the General and Lucy this season and whether Clark and Lois will ever get together.

The second video is the newest offering from CW Connect, and this one is with Laura Vandervoort aka Kara Kent. She answers questions about what she will be up to in the third episode of the season entitled “Supergirl”, whether her coming back will help or harm Clark, if there is any chance we might see her in costume, whether she might be called Supergirl, and if there is a Supergirl movie in her future.
