Happy Birthday SHoE!

Published by Derek at May 14th, 2008 in News, Update

Well, it’s the end of one year and the start of another. True the seventh season of “Smallville” concludes tomorrow night with “Arctic” but it’s also SHoE’s second anniversary this week and Graham and Derek decided it was time for an update on things.

Take a look around, you’ll see a new streamlined look here at the main site, as well as our forums, our enhanced AAC cards, and even our new t-shirts which will be available for pre-order very soon.

We’d like to thank Evan Agee of Agee Design and Graham Hancock for putting together the new site! Also, a big thank you to Stuart (Narsil) for providing the sweet fortress logo you see up at the top.

All this means we’re looking ahead to a new year, a new eighth season of “Smallville”, and beyond. Thanks for sticking with us for two years, we’re here because of you guys and we’re staying put because of you too!

Reminder: No SHoE This Week

Published by Derek at March 9th, 2007 in News, Update

Derek is on the road with John Schneider promoting Collier & Co. this weekend so don’t be looking for Episode 41 of SHoE until Smallville returns with ‘Promise’ next Thursay, March 15th, at 8/7c on the CW!

Speaking of ‘Promise’ - Our friend Craig at Kryptonsite has an exclusive behind the scenes set report from the filming of the episode during his visit for the Smallville Season 4 Official Companion (check the post below this one.)  There’s also some great spoilers from the episode that you’ve got to check out if you’re dying for information; including some new images from ‘Combat’ and a few season finale tid-bits.  All kinds of great stuff to keep you going until next week!

Couple of things to remind you of: Don’t forget our ‘Nemesis’ contest going on right now, in which the lucky winner will recieve a years subscription to Titan’s Smallville Magazine! Details can be found at our new SHoE Forums!  And don’t forget to pick up your exclusive SHoE T-Shirts avaliable now at the Starkville House of El Store! Be sure and check back over the weekend for Tim’s review of Chapters 1-3 of The Oliver Queen Chronicles - right here at SHoE.

Schneider Interview Update!

Published by Graham at November 14th, 2006 in Update

We are absolutely thrilled about the response to our exclusive interview with John Schneider and we are inundated with comments and praise about it. We have also had a fair share of people letting us know that they’ve had some difficulties recieving and playing the podcast as well as a few requests to transcript the whole thing.

Well we hear you loud and clear and we hope to have the interview up in Multiple formats, as well as a full transcript by this weekend. The video version is still in post production and will be available as soon as possible. We’re splitting the video into two 30 minute videos: one about “Collier and Co.” and the other with the questions about “Smallville.” The Smallville section will be available first.

Thank you for all of your comments and suggestions! Please subscribe and stay tuned because there are definitely some exciting things en route for Starkville’s House of El!
