The two discuss the episode from its inception, where they drew from to bring Clark and Lois together, and how they decided to make little Lex Luthor so damn creepy. *Note: The audio quality you are used to hearing on Starkville’s House of El isn’t quite what you’ll get on this episode, as some technical difficulties got in the way of recording. Robin and Joe tackle the fifth episode of season ten, entitled ‘Isis’, featuring a huge turning point in the mythos that is, Smallville. The whole gang is together to celebrate the landmark 200th episode of Smallville entitled “Homecoming”. Damian and Derek discuss talk of the new Superman film franchise with Zack Snyder at the helm, and then welcome Craig Byrne of Kryptonsite into discuss the 200th episode. After that, Joe and Robin share their thoughts on “Homecoming” before sending it back to Craig and Derek to discuss the 200th episode party in Vancouver as well as journalism and what it has meant to helm SHoE and Kryptonsite over the past several years.

Joe and Robin return to discuss Laura Vandervoort’s return in “Supergirl”. The episode set up this season in a big way, as it lays the path for upcoming episodes including tonight’s 200th episode, ‘Homecoming’. It wasn’t known at the time of recording, but this is the last episode featuring Steve Glosson as a regular host here on Starkville’s House of El. And as sad as that is, there’s not a more fitting time for it to be released than one hour before the final season premiere, of Smallville. In episode 153 (which was recorded nearly a month ago) Steve and Derek go over their own wish lists for the final season, and remember good times.
