Comic-Con Details Released!

whyistilwatch

It was reported earlier today by EW.com ’s Michael Ausiello that we now have a few confirmations for the Smallville Panel that is taking place at San Diego Comic-con on Sunday July 25th at 10am in Ballroom 20.

  • Tom Welling WILL be there, this is only his second appearance and presumably his last in connection with Smallville. (that makes me sad to type)
  • He will be Joined by Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, and Justin Hartley
  • Showrunners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson will be there on the panel as well
  • Writer of episodes Legion, Society, and Legends and current big cheese at DC Entertainment, Geoff Johns will be moderating the panel
  • There WILL be a preview trailer for season 10 shown

This is my first year going to SDCC and I couldn’t be more excited and I am really looking forward to meeting my fellow SHoEligans at the convention. Remember the code word is MOLE

Leave a comment below about this news and make sure to mention if you are going to be attending the Con.

  1. @ Tim TOTALLY right there bro!

  2. Laurie says:

Lara Vandervoot is going to be in at least one episode in Season 10. I think it is great.

  3. Woo says:

@Tim But like we SHoEligans have speculated does he have the time, I have the feeling he wants to return but does Rosenbaum have the time. I have kind of assumed the reason he didn’t signed on for another two years when his contract was up at the tail end of the seventh season was because he wanted to begin producing his own projects. Not that that’s an awful thing, this is just what I have always thought.

  4. Ian says:

I just wanted to say that I have heard rumors that the first episode of season 10 will be called “Lazarus”. Can anyone confirm this.

If it is called Lazarus could have anything to do with the Lazarus Pit? I know its a long shot but there is always a chance. Its probably just Clark “coming back from the dead”.

  5. Tim says:

@Ian yes, it has been confirmed on KryptonSite. We actually heard the word Lazarus in season 3 with Adam Knight and the Lazarus serum. My bet’s on it referring to Clark as well, and maybe a double meaning referring to Jonathan’s post mortem return. Many people on Superman Homepage think Kara is going to be killed off, after maybe warning Clark about Darkseid like in the Superman/Batman arch and Overgirl in Final Crisis. I hope they don’t kill her off, and maybe the Legion returns and she goes to the 31st century with the reprogrammed Brainiac 5. This would mirror the comics and JLU cartoons. Thoughts SHoEligans?

  6. Ian says:

This is just my thought to Kara returning. When she does I think she will be the one to teach Clark to fly orrrrr…….. When Johnathan returns he will be the one to give Clark the incentive, I guess you could say, to fly.

Also when Johnathan does return, I think it will most likely be during the 200th episode considering he died in the 100th episode.

  7. Natasha says:

@ Ian, it was confirmd that Jonathan returns in the premiere, unless you mean when he comes back for his second S10 episode.

  8. Ian says:

@ Natasha, Yeah thats what I meant to say. Thank you for correcting that.

  9. Ron says:

does anyone know the link to brian n kellys new facebook

  10. Woo says:

@Tim If the writers brought Kara back just to kill her off that would equally upset as much if they did that to Lana when they brought her back in the eighth season. I like The Legion idea as far as Darkseid goes. And it wouldn’t mess up continuity in terms of Smallville goes for The Legion because recall what Rokk said in “Doomsday” when Chloe did an “assistanted suicide” for Davis with the use of meteor rock that changed the future and everything Kal-El did after that also changed the future. So it would be conceivable that the L.O.S.H would know about Darkseid and what he is planning to do. If the writers decide to bring him in. What do my fellow Zune, iPod, and Android SHoEligans think?

  11. Mike says:

@ron sorry i dont know but if anyone else knows u should tell him instead of overlooking him anyway it seems were geting more spoliers for later episodes than the premiere

  12. MJ says:

@Ron, I don’t follow Brian or Kelly on facebook but my guess is that if you have a facebook account you can probably search for them using the Search option at the top?

@Mike, I don’t think anyone was overlooking Ron. I’m just not sure that everyone on here is active on facebook.

  13. Woo says:

DC News: For my fellow Zune, iPod, and Android SHoEligans who are attending Comic Con and who may go to the live action Green Lantern panel here an image of Ryan Reynolds CG suit

    http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/b190560_ryan_reynolds_cgi_green_lantern_getup.html

  14. Drew says:

guys quick question since amanda waller is in the new green lantern do u think dc wont let her come back to smallville to wrap up the the hole did zod torch her or not or will they just let her stay since she has already been introduced?

  15. Tim says:

@Drew Smallville should wrap up before the movie being released in summer 2011, so she will probably return.

  16. Woo says:

@Tim But here’s the thing though and my fellow Android, Zune, and iPod SHoEligans can chime in on this. The reason we got Bart Allen as a representation as “The Flash” on Smallville is because Warner Bros./DC have always had in the last few years an intention to do a live-action Wally West “Flash” feature. And they didn’t want to confuse fans and plus DC is very protective of what characters be represented in what mediums. In all honesty and this would be an awesome thing for Geoff Johns to bring in the tenth season. If he so chooses. Alan Scott as The Green Lantern. Plus, that would tie in with bringing back Hawkman and Star Girl and the JSA in general and Amanda Waller. Opinions Android, Zune, and iPod SHoEligans?

  17. Drew says:

@Tim i think your right she was in smallville before the time they said she will be in the movie so it makes sense

  18. Woo says:

New Topic: Biggest Smallville moments (i.e. “game changing moments.”)

    For me:

    1. Jonathan Kent passing away in “Reckoning” (I don’t believe the series has been the same since that his death changed the series from that point on.)

    2. Virgil Swann introduced (Come on, it is Christopher Reeve.)

    3. “Descent” when Lionel Luthor is murdered (A huge moment and probably even to this day, my favorite ep. of Smallville)

    4. “Justice” (Even though there have been better team ups like “Absolute Justice” and “Legion” the implication of “Justice” would be felt for seasons to come.)

    5. “Doomsday” (The first true death of an “innocent” on Smallville in the form of Jimmy. Jimmy had done nothing wrong to deserve what happened to him. Lionel had a lot of past sins, Jonathan Kent made his deal with Jor-El he knew the future risks. But Jimmy truly an innocent. This is also the ep. where Clark begins to discover he needs to move forward with his training.)

    6. “Absolute Justice” (Clark finds out more about his destiny through Dr. Fate. But also finds a kindred spirit in Hawkman learning about how to be a leader of a team but also learning how to deal with adversity when trying to do the correct thing.)

I am probably missing a lot of moments but these are the ones that stick out to me the most. What are yours my fellow Zune, Android, and iPod SHoEligans?

  19. Tim says:

I agree with your list, though I would add Arctic and Salvation. What does everyone think of the new Green Lantern suit? While I am one of those who wanted Reynolds as the Flash, and Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan, I am stoked for this movie. One of the comments I’ve seen is that it looks like he was skinned and shoved in glow in the dark contraception, but remember that it’s CG, so they can still change the suit if fans pan it. I rewatched the Justice League Unlimited finale in refreshing my Darkseid knowledge, and how awesome would it be if Lex came back and teamed up with Clark to save the Earth, then sacrifice himself to save the Earth from aliens, and because he thinks only he has the right to take down Clark, this could show Lex’s genius and true belief that he is the good guy. You can use this to set up Lex forgetting the secret, and also sort of as a pseudo redemption only more tragic that he “died”. Which if they show Clark as Supes, Lex can look up in the sky, revealing he is alive. Thoughts SHoEligans.

  20. Drew says:

@Tim i totally agree with you on the smallville point and if they can have lex looking for the anti-life equation and having him only team up with clark just to take out darksied so he can be the only one looking for it that would be awsome

  21. @Drew Having Lex look for the Anti-life Equasion sounds a little like Justice League Unlimited’s series finale “Destroyer”, which was fantastice by the way. But, I think that would be a very cool situation as long as Michael Rosenbaum returns.

@Tim Lex looking up into the sky revealing him to be alive is fantastic sir! Two thumbs up for that. We wouldn’t even need to have a story arc. But we would still need Rosenbaum.

  22. Woo says:

@Tim I could see it working but then the writers who have do a lot of exposition work for me to buy that story arc. Not necessarily Lex’s intentions to assist his ex-best friend, but one need to explain where Lex has been and what he remembers. Plus, one would need Rosenbaum for a lot more than ten eps. if they decided to go the route you suggested.

  23. Woo says:

This is just me being overly picky. But I just wanted to bring something to the comments table. I wish the kryptonian key was the same color as “The Giant Key” that Superman used in the golden age comics maybe a golden color instead of a metallic sliver. I bring this up because “The book of RAO” is basically the key with a shield cut out of its center. I wish the key had a golden tint to it to not confuse viewers. Especially the younger fans and or the fans who no nothing about Superman Canon. Plus, it would have been a nice nod to the comics if the kryptonian key was golden. Thoughts? Android, Zune, and iPod SHoEligans?

  24. Natasha says:

@ Woo, the two keys are different colors or metals (BoR was golden, Fortress Key was silver), so if the younger fans were confused…well that’s their stupid fault. Not everyone is going to pay that close attention to detail as we more…obsessed fans do. Besides, while the “Giant Key” was amusing and nostalgic, I’m glad SV didn’t use it because it’s a little TOO comic booky for a live action tv show that is more dramatic. There were already too many Silver Agey elements that were introduced that I’m glad that PS&W FINALLY got away from in Season 9. However, I do agree that the Fortress security is starting to resemble that of the Luthor mansion. Maybe someone should ask about that at ComicCon:

“Um, yes, the Fortress security is starting to resemble that of the Luthor mansion. Are Clark and Jor-El going to do a system upgrade this season?”

  25. Ian says:

I don’t know if anybody has brought this up yet, but I think it would be kinda cool to see Smallville have its own little universe in the DC Multiverse. It really could because look at the animated series “Batman Beyond”, it had its own universe so why can’t Smallville. I mean there was even a Smallville Comic Book so why can’t there be a “Smallville Universe”

  26. Drew says:

@Natasha i agree anyone can walk into the fortress and do what they want to clark really needs to get the sloman shield for the fortess

@Ian i think thats up to DC to decided if there should be a smallville universe

  27. Jean says:

ok does anyone know when shoe is returning? its been over 2 months….

  28. Tim says:

Note that that was not me! ^ If it is THE real Jean, then pretty soon, I think we can expect one around comic con.

  29. Tim says:

Even though we have the upcoming Green Lantern film, we could still get a GL with Guy Gardner as Warrior or Kyle Rayner has Ion. Since neither of these are Hal Jordan, and they wouldn’t have to call them “Green Lantern” I don’t see a problem. New topic! other than Batman and Wonder Woman, what DC heroes would you like to see introduced in Season 10? (I know it should focus on Clark, but this list is for fun) So, my top 10 list.

    1.Orion

    2.Mr. Miracle

    3. Brainiac 5

    4. Captain Marvel (I still hate Warrior, as it should have been called SHAZAM, and use Billy Batson rather than Warrior Angel. Plus they insulted Big Honkin by calling him a theif! None the less…)

    5. Steel (Could be inspired by the Blur, but this may be too close to Idol)

6.Kon-El (Yeah, yeah, I know. But this wouldn’t be the teeny bopper drama. Lex could clone Clark and use the clone to fight him. At the end, Superboy could leave when he is conflicted about having both good (Clark) and evil (Lex) in him. Though this could be too much like Bizarro. At the end though, he, Victor, and Bart could form the Titans)

    7. Jay Garrick (Only if Bart is in the episode as well.)

    8. Firestorm

    9. The Question

    10. Guardian (Metropolis’ original hero, from the JSA’s time. Could return and feel upstaged by the Blur. Similar to Batman The Animated Series’ Grey Ghost or Nightshade from the Flash TV show)

  30. Mike says:

Guys my friend just told me something and got me thinking when do you guys think we will see darksied or get a mention and do u think this will kind of be a invasion storyline or A darksied testing kal-el

  31. Anthony Pa. says:

    @Mike

I believe that Darkseid will have an impact in the upcoming season. Whether we actually see him in the first couple of episodes is the question though. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having him remain in shadow in the being episodes and we just hear his voice. Then sometime before the mid season hiatus have him emerge from the shadows.

Until then have Granny Goodness being the main foil as it has been said by Tom Welling I believe that Granny will show up and likely with the Furies.

  32. Tim says:

    @Mike I think for a while we will see the “Boss Dark Side” persona, and maybe have his alien roots revealed by the midseason hiatus and wrapped up in maybe the 3rd to last episode. That would make a nice New Gods Arc and still let the last 3 be cinematic Superman epicness. All I need for New Gods are;

    New Genesis: Highfather
    Orion
    Mr. Miracle
    Big Barda
    Metron

    Apokolips: Darkseid
    Kalibak
    Kanto
    Granny Goodness
    Desaad

  33. Woo says:

@Tim If we don’t see at least Orion or High Father as the representation for New Genesis I will be disappointed. As far as what Green Lantern we will see if we got one, like I said in the post before since they have already establish the JSA in the ninth season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alan Scott as The Green Lantern. Opinions? Zune, Android, and iPod SHoEligans?

  34. MJ says:

Just wanted to wish everyone traveling out to San Diego save travels and a wonderful trip. Hoping that there is good weather for your time on the plane and that there is plenty of sun in California for your stay!

We don’t all agree all the time or share the same opinions about the show but it’s still wonderful to be able to talk and share about our favorite show together.

I’ve got a busy week ahead of me but I’m hoping you all have a fun trip!

@Natasha, I hope you get to ask your question about Clark Kent the journalist!! Have a wonderful time girl!

  35. Tim says:

Have fun everyone! And ask all your interesting questions, do not act like the Batman guy!

  36. Tim says:

@Woo That is very true, since it has been stated we will see the JSA HQ, we may see some members like Alan or Jay. If we get a Lantern, Alan is most likely since he has no connections to the Corps. Also, rumor has it they are casting Shiera, so perhaps we will see Hawkman find his reincarnated wife. If we get Jay though, Bart MUST be in the same episode.

  37. Woo says:

@Tim It would be interesting to see Bart interact with Jay Gerrick. In the same vain I think it would be cool for Dinah to meet the original (at least I think she was) Black Canary from the JSA. Mist likely Geoff Johns will pen that ep.

  38. Tim says:

@Woo The original Black Canary was Dinah Drake, mother to Dinah Lance, so they have most likely met. Still, it would be cool. Plus, in the comics, Jay raised Bart after Max Mercury died, and since Bart used his identity in Run, he obviously knows him. New topic to hold us over till comic con, what heroes would my fellow SHoEligans like to see in season 10? My list is above, but I am interested to see your choices.

  39. Natasha says:

@Tim, I definitely agree with your top two choices of Orion and Mr. Miracle, especially since I think those two characters are kind of (re: very) essential to helping Clark defeat Darkseid since one of them is his son and the other was successful in escaping Apokalips, and also since Scott and Orion were exchanged as part of the treaty between Apokalips and New Genesis. I just think Clark would need more than just his usual allies in order to understand who Darkseid is and how Apokalips works, and he would need allies from that world that closely understands the history. Even though High Father and some of the other New Gods would be able to give that information, Orion and Scott were more directly affected than any other New God.

  40. Tim says:

@Natasha Agreed! Completely. Actually, each New God would have a counterpart:

    Darkseid vs Highfather
    Orion vs Kalibak
    Mr. Miracle vs Kanto
    Big Barda vs Granny Goodness
    Lightray vs Kanto
    Metron vs Desaad

I totally want an all New Gods smackdown being this season’s Society/Legends. For those of you unfamiliar with most New Gods, watch this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N57X6gJsUC4

  41. Woo says:

@Tim These are in no particular order (as far as importance) (this includes already established heroes on Smallville as well.

    Mr. Miracle.

    Orion.

    High Father.

Green Lantern (Alan Scott) or just members of the JSA in general.

    L.O.S.H (Imra, Garth, and Rokk.)

JLA (Black Canary, Zantanna, Aquaman, Impluse, Cyborg, and Martian Manhunter.

As far as villians Apoklips villains (i.e. Darkseid, Female Furies, Granny. etc.)

I’d really love it for Marsters to return to play Brainic once more (I don’t know how) but I’d love to see it.

    Lex (of course)

Zod (One could do a “Bloodline” type ep. with him) plus with Kara maybe in more than one ep. I would love to see it happen.

Checkmate (Amanda Waller in general but they are good background players) I have always thought Joss Whedon’s Wolfram & Hart from Angel was inspired from Checkmate and Amanda Waller.

Lastly, I would love to see Bruno Mannhiem return or just have Inter-gang in general because there are other bosses in Inter-gang other than Bruno. My point is, one could have other bosses taking orders from Bruno without him actually being on screen. I would just like to see Inter-gang because I know from comics and from the animated series they have close ties with Darkseid. What are my fellow Zune, iPod, and Android SHoEligans choices?

  42. Woo says:

@since1938 Your point of wanting Kal-El to get a byline in the tenth season brings up an interesting point that I really hadn’t thought of until today. Ever since Clark started at The Daily Planet we have not seen him or Lois have an ep. on the series that was about Lois & Clark writing a story. Sure, it has been in the background of a few eps. like in 09×19. But the thing I always enjoyed about Superman The Animated Series and Lois & Clark that “filler” eps. were about a story or a problem about a story that Clark by himself or with Lois had to solve and later write about and since began working at The Planet in the eighth season we haven’t got much of that on Smallville.

I know maybe because it isn’t really a Superman series proper, maybe that is the reason. However, one thing about Lane and Kent that has always held true since the inception of the characters in 1938 is what a great writing team they are. Not just lovers, but a great reporting team hopefully we SHoEligans will get to see that in the tenth season. Opinions? What do my fellow Zune, iPod, and Android SHoEligans think about that?

  45. Steele says:

I had a great new idea (new to me). With 2 kids I don’t have the time to sit down and re-watch Season 9 so I am doing the next best thing.. I am re-listening to all of the SHOES from season 9 to catch up again before the Season 10 premiere! Plus it keeps me busy till that 150th comes out. Just a great idea I thought I would pass along!

  46. Jean says:

“Note that that was not me! ^ If it is THE real Jean, then pretty soon, I think we can expect one around comic con.”

Yea that was the real jean, I dont understand why people use my name like now i have to clarify… Why would it have been you?
and comic con sounds like a good spot hopefully its an awesome one and its like 3 or 4 at once to make up for missed time.

  47. MJ says:

Anyone up for sharing their favorite quotes from Season 9???

I’m going to start with the funniest quotes of the season to laugh and smile before Comic-Con this weekend. Thsi season had some really great comedic moments and I don’t know about you guys but the laughter puts me in a great mood before Comic Con. Care to join in??

A few that pop into my head. Most of them are probably going to be Oliver and Lois because they tend to have the funniest lines. However, I have to give an honorable mention to our very own Clark Kent who had a few great lines himself this year. This was one of the first seasons in a while where it seemed like Clark was smiling a ton. In random order….

“You and your pet rock put on a hell of a barbeque. But I had my money on Doomsday….What’s the ‘S’ stand for? Superstar?”–Oliver Queen to Clark Kent in “Rabid.”

“By the way: This is the least secret-secret lab I’ve ever been in. Twice.”–Lois Lane, “Upgrade”

“Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm…I can’t tell you Lois….”–Clark Kent singing happily in the shower because he thinks he’s about to finally have sex with Lois Lane in “Escape.”

“Lois….” said in the ::deep Clark Kent manly voice::–Clark Kent after he sees Lois dressed up as some kind of kinky Scottish Barmaid.

“I can explain this…..sort of.”—Clark Kent to Lois Lane in “Escape” after being caught naked in the shower with a possessed Chloe

“I’m wearing Green Leather so I’ll do my best.”–Oliver Queen in “Salvation” after Chloe tells him to try and keep a low profile.

“‘You do know of couse that you look absolutely ridiculous in that right? I got a great tailor, hook you up with a little color.”–Oliver Queen to Clark Kent in “Roulette.”

“And despite some flashes of some serious NC-17 violence, really the situation involves clothes… coming off … you know, naked. Skin … skin on skin … just lots of skin.” ::clears throat::—Lois Lane describing her inappropriate sex dreams about Clark in “Idol”.

“What is this? Nightline? “Okay, yes, I’m doing the virtual Kama Sutra with Clark Kent. My desk is soft core central.” –Lois Lane living out every woman’s fantasy in “Idol.”

“Oh, you wanna go there? Let me tell you about second chances, Buddy. There’s a way you treat a woman, it’s called respect.”—Lois Lane telling off the Blur in “Idol”

“There is no try, Skywalker. “You have super powers. Why don’t you pick up a phone?”–Lois Lane in “Idol” reminding Superman fans everywhere why of all the women in the world this is the woman who has Clark by the balls.

“You tell me the color of your underwear every day. What else is there to know?”—-Clark Kent reminds the world what his true priorities are with a woman in “Idol.”

“I’m going to save you a lot of time and money, okay? It’s all your parents’ fault.”—Lois Lane acting like..well…Lois in “Idol.”

“No, that’s the best way to win a bowling tournament, Tweety. We’re dealing with superpowered soldiers here.”—Oliver Queen to Hawkman in “Salvation.”

Oliver Queen: You know, you really got to work on your landings.
Hawkman: It would have been a lot smoother if you hadn’t thrown up.
Oliver Queen: Send me your dry-cleaning bill.
Hawkman: Send me your dinner bill.

—Oliver And Hawman in “Absolute Justice.”

“You know, Clark, if you wanna bury me in the desert for going on that date with Lois… you could’ve at least taken me to Nevada.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m still gonna put up a fight. But maybe we could’ve hit the Strip before the main event, you know what I mean? Maybe a little Blue Man Group… maybe a little Carrot Top. You know what I’m getting you next year for Christmas is a sense of humor.”—Oliver Queen genuinely wondering if Clark might bury him the desert in “Kandor”. LOL

“Let’s talk about Mr. Green in the bedroom…with my cousin.”—Lois Lane giving a whole new meaning to “Clue” in “Escape.”

“So…you uh…save any orphans lately? Old ladies…anything like that?”—Oliver Queen doing anything possible to avoid talking about the fact that he and Clark are both at the same place for the sheer purpose of having sex in “Escape.”

Chloe: Okay, so not that I haven’t seen enough of Clark Kent’s private… life tonight…
Clark: I don’t like where this is going.
Chloe: You took Lois on a romantic getaway to some sort of a bed-and-breakfast. And while I doubt that the whole breakfast part poses any problem, I seem to recall you having some concern about the beds– and non-powered people– and what would happen in the beds with the non-powered people…
    Clark: Okay, stop!
    Chloe: Thank you.
Clark: My training with Jor-El has helped me to manage my powers better. Let’s just say that I’m in control. Of EVERYTHING.

-Clark Kent giving too much information in “Escape.”

“I was looking for Tess when the whole building went Resident Evil!”–Oliver Queen hunting zombies in “Rabid.”

Lois: Well, a three-week concussion can do that to you. But I think that you bonked me on the head and then held me somewhere.
Tess: Held you? That’s wishful thinking, Lane. When I came to, you were already gone.—Tess Mercer makes people wonder if she’s secretly attracted to Lois Lane in “Metallo.”

“You betrayed the entire human race for some crappy dog tags! Way to go!”—Lois Lane to Tess Mercer in “Pandora.”

“Hellloooooo Sailor.”— Lois Lane echoing what women everywhere think when they see Tom Welling in “Echo.” (Although this thought actually came from touching his bicep. lol)

    “Clark, did I miss him?”
“If by him you mean ME, barely.”
—Future man of steel in “Echo” annoyed that Lois almost ran him down with her car and barely seemed to care. LOL

“God, I’m dragging ass today. I should go for coffee. No, actually, I should really get a b12 shot. I have to keep up with Clark. You know, you got to remember what the General always said: on certain days, you wear certain underwear. And why today, of all days, you decided to go with a thong….”
–Lois Lane’s thoughts in “Echo.” Although, the real humor in this quote is the shot of Clark’s face after she says she’s wearing a thong and then catches her adjusting it. lol

“Clark, how was I supposed to react when I find out that you’ve been rifling through Lois’ brain like you lost your keys in there? You can’t just trick someone into dating you.”—Chloe Sullivan lays the smack down in “Echo.”

“Clark! you can’t get rid of me that easily! I have the internet on my phone.”—Lois Lane strikes fear in the Man of Steel in “Echo.”

“You know Lois…we could go back to the farm and take a walk. I could give you Clark Kent’s tour of the galaxy.”—Clark Kent’s version of ‘Want to come up and see my sketches?’ What a horndog.

I know I missed some funny lines. What did I forget?? There were so many funny scenes this season.

  48. Tim says:

@Jean I just don’t want to be accused of being a jack@$$ like other peoples, lol. Just so ya know. I think Derek and Steve already recorded and we can expect the episode before the comic con coverage.

  49. Tim says:

@MJ u pretty got all the quotes, lol. One I would like to add is Ollie always defending his costume as leather and not tights.

  50. Natasha says:

@Woo, I ABSOLUTELY want to see Lane and Kent doing a genuine investigation together. I think MJ or Kimmie someone else I can’t remember also suggested that Clark and Lois could be gunning for the same story to show that iconic competitive streak of theirs. But really? I just want it acknowledged in more than just words that Clark’s job at the DP is more than just a cover. I want to see the evidence of this work he’s putting in at the paper, and as much as I adore Lois, I just want it to be shown that she’s not the only future Pulitzer winner in this relationship.

@MJ, I love your quote list. I also loved:

Clark: “Of course I care; I got a new tie.” Clark showing Lois how seriously he takes her career in Crossfire.
