“Escape” Airs Tonight!
DC COMICS’ CHARACTER SILVER BANSHEE INTERRUPTS A ROMANTIC GETAWAY FOR LOIS AND CLARK – Clark and Lois head out of town for a quiet romantic getaway, but their plans are thwarted when they run into Chloe and Oliver at their Bed & Breakfast Inn. The couples awkward moment is interrupted by the arrival of the Silver Banshee (guest star Odessa Rae), who sets her sights on Clark and Oliver. Meanwhile, Tess faces off with Zod with a surprising result.

But with the traditional \S/ of course. I greatly prefer the “House of El” style over the Kingdom Come style.

It has been confirmed Perry will help Lois get the scoop on Tess and the Kandorians, HOPEFULLY, they can nab McKean to be a recurring character in the 10th (and possible final) season as Editor. I hope Martha is there to help the League against Checkmate.

@Drew while I agree with you, we still need to see the pieces of the suit come together, such as a Cape, or going back to the red and blue. The current Blur outfit is actually make me miss the red windbreaker.

Some Smallville news for everyone “Escape” is No 6 on Zune Marketplace and No 32 on Apple iTunes. Lower number in rankings on both than usual, but I think after the ratings on Kryptonsite and some people’s lukewarm ratings even on this site. That is to be expected.
I always thought the next costume evolution would be more inspired by the Superboy costume in Reign of the Supermen. Inspired, not copied. It combines the red/blue with the current black blur style. I think it would be cool if they started to color the \S/ or add an \S/ to the back of the costume.
Granted, not many of the Kryptonian symbols have been colored, except for Kara’s crystal, the red burn on his chest from the Red K episodes, and the S they painted on him in on the scare crow from Episode 1. I’m not saying that’s all of them, but that’s all I can remember right now. Oh, and the S from the Smallville Crows mascot. Well, and that kid drew a colorful suit… ok so maybe I’m wrong and there have been lots of colored S’s… but not many colored Kryptonian symbols… Maybe I should delete this post since I just caught myself being wrong… Anyway, Superboy. That’s what I’m trying to say.

It’s about time we got some Cyborg. If Chloe is the one to die in the finale, I would like the cliffhanger to be a bald headed figure emerge from the shadows with a smoking gun. If Rosenbaum won’t come back, just show the back of the head. Hawkman could die too, as he has reincarnation powers. This is shaping up to be one of my most anticipated finales in a while. I hope that they don’t job out the JLA/JSA though, as much as I love “Doomsday” , Bart and Dinah didn’t have much to do, they could have just used
Ollie.

@Woo, Regarding the sales on Itunes….I think you need to remember that the episode took much longer to be loaded on Itunes than usual so a lot of people bought it other places. I know a ton of fans got it on Amazon as opposed to Itunes because they were tired of waiting for Itunes to load it.
Second, again, remember that the low ratings had a lot to do with Easter weekend. All of the networks reported record low ratings last week . The CW’s #1 show, “The Vampire Diaries” drew only 2.8 million viewers in their Thursday timeslot which is a record low for them as well.
Third, don’t base your feelings on fan reaction from what you see at Ksite. I’m not bashing the site because obviously it’s an important resource for many fans. But a lot of fans also don’t bother posting there. A perfect example is Divine INtervention, which yes, is a Clois site. DI has over 6,000 members. Very few of them even bother with Ksite because they don’t want to get involved in shipper wars. Personally, while I respect Ksite, I never visit there because every time I do it just seems like everyone is complaining or unhappy with something. I’m critical with the show when I don’t like something but I also don’t live to pick the show apart and be overly critical about every little thing. Also, I’ve found that the posters at Ksite, in general, seem to be very young. Many of them are under 20 years old. (Take into account that according to the demo ratings for Smallville–most of the viewers are actually over 30.) I’m 27 years old. So honestly, I don’t enjoy Ksite because I feel like I can’t talk about the show with maturity because the posters are so young and can be very immmature. It’s not their fault. It just is what it is. Just take into account though that Ksite, while a popular fan site, is not the be all and end all in terms of fan reaction to an episode. I find that site to many times be overly critical and the reality is that there are thousands of fans (and not just Clois fans) who don’t bother going there because they don’t like the negativity.

Derek and Steve are both very busy people. I’m sure Derek is doing his best to get the episode up. I am more than happy to be patient with him. He’s doing this as a favor to all of us. The last thing he deserves is people putting pressure on him. Take your time Derek!

I think there should totally be like a surprise commentary for Legends by Tom and maybe even Allison or Justin. Taht would be som much fun! It will probably never happen but a girl can dream, right?
As much as I hate it, I think Absolute Justice is now the official title, it’s listed as that on iTunes and listed as Parts 1 & 2 on Smallville wiki. I hope they do call them by their production titles of “Society” and “Legends.” Just a Legends commentary with Geoff Johns, Tom Welling and anyone else would be awesome.

Ok, so we have Cyborg, Black Canary, Hawkman, and Stargirl in Salvation
Clark, Green Arrow, and Martian Manhunter in Checkmate
Martha Kent and Perry White in whatever.
So, all we need is Aquaman, Flash (yes I’m talking about Bart cause he was Flash in Stiletto), a new Dr. Fate, Green Lantern, The Flash (Jay Garrick), and Wildcat.
I think we need more JLA next season. A.C. and Victor don’t get alot of screen time in the episodes they’re in (besides Aqua and Cyborg). Bart and Dinah get a fair amount, but they need more action sequenses. John Jones has had a great amount of action and episodes. I think he’s close to the amount Brainiac had.
Ok, so does anyone here besides me think Bart Allen is really a modern day version of Barry Allen (The Flash). I think this for a few reasons. One, he says he got his powers in a FLASH of light. Now in the comics, Bart was born with his powers, but Barry was struck by a FLASH of lightning. Two, he wears the Barry Allen Flash logo. Three, he is called The Flash in Stiletto. Four, just like Aquaman he has a nickname (Bart is short for Bartholomew which is the same name as Barry just as A.C. is short for Arthur Curry) Five, since none of the heroes (besides Clark and Oliver) have gone public yet, that could be a reason that Bart is/was called Impulse. Idk why I brought it up, but no one is listening to me on the Smallville Wiki.
