9×16 ‘Escape’ Trailer
What did you think of tonight’s episode? Unfortunately we all have a long wait in store after that one… Smallville officially goes on hiatus and doesn’t return until April 2nd. Until then, here’s the trailer the CW aired for 9×16, “Escape”

hee hee tim. Anyway, all the clips I see are from Checkmate and Upgrade. Where’s the Escape clips – unless Zessty in bed was it. But then that’s dumb! I wanted a sneak peek of the Silver Banshee! It’ll be interesting to see her Smallvillian look.
Also, where are the clips of Clois at the B&B? *frustrated Steve-like sigh* Whatever, the clips of B.A.G and Lois kicking someone’s @** made MY day.
Hey Sarita, you talking about brian got me thinking, we know “upgrade” will feature the return of B.A.G as Metallo and feature Red Kryptonite. Could metallo have a new red k heart that instead of weakening Clark, makes him turn into “Kal?”
Thats what I thought Tim but now that I think about it if he only has a Red K heart than it will turn Clark into Kal and won’t leave any conscious left for control over not beating Metallo to death. It wouldn’t really be much of a fight. Plus he has green in the trailer
Hey Tim. I thought it would be a possibility but in the trailer he has a green k heart. My personal opinion is that the red K is more of a plot device and crowd pleaser. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining…at all! I LOVE Kal. Anyway, we also know Kal is VERY touchy-feely (I give you, Crimson), so I think it’s to add humor and possibly to give an excuse for E.D’s absesnce for the two following episodes. We all know how she gets during unexpected situations (I give you Crossfire into Idol).
Despite all this it’s going to be FREAKIN’ AWESOME! (like a zebra running down the street in downtown Atlanta. lol)
We all assume Metallo will be using RedK in some way. but I wonder who decided to introduce it into the equation. Remember, the only people that really know what RedK does are Chloe, Clark, and maybe Oliver and the Kandorians. So either someone’s done their research and figured out it’s effects, someone in the know uses it, or they just find RedK and blindly start using it. This is all just assuming it’s not dumb luck like in Red or Crimson
Anybody else really want to see Zod on RedK. What are Zod’s inhabitions?
He will probably be out himself about his powers, come full villian, and hopefully say “Come to me son of Jor-El! KNEEL before Zod!” Can you say Geek-Wood? Any1 thing we will see toyman as he is rebuilding Metallo’s heart? It would be cool to see a villainous trio of him, Metallo, and Zod.
toy man, metallo, and zod!? RIDICULOUSLY HUGE GEEKWOOD. But I don’t think it’s gonna happen though.
But you know I was thinking…the spoilers don’t say that Clark is the one on red k. I mean he’ll probably feel the effects eventually but what if the principal people who are affected are the Kandorians? Namely Zod.

Exactly! Zod could go full out Terrance Stamp Zod and shout “KNEEL!” or “You will bow down before me Kal-El, you, and then one day, YOUR ASS!” I think the Tess/Zod will probably happen when Zod is on Red K and doesn’t beat around the bush.

In the trailer, Zod is in the fortress, so he could even say it to Jor-El! OOOHHH! Mega Geekwood! 2 zods in one scene!

Hey no one ever answered my question. Which one of these clips is from “Escape”? Derek, you’re in the know, any ideas?
@ Sarita, it’s so hard to tell because just reading the official description of Escape, it doesn’t look like any of those clips are from the episode. Maybe we’ll get a more “solo” trailer the closer we get to the airing date, but considering this is the CW we’re talking about, I won’t hold my breath.

As much as I like Derek’s Tess death scene, hopefully it will happen mid season 10 for Rosenbaum’s return. I am doing the Lois happy wedding dance for season 10 right now!!!

Yes Sarita, Geoff Johns said on twitter, capital A, with a K, listen to the most recent SHoE and the Starkville absolute justice live show (no longer live lol,) I am ready for a straightlace superman show though. Bring back all the villians (Lex, Darkseid, Brainiac, Metallo, Mxyzptlk, Bizarro, Metallo, Toyman, Zod, Parasite, Doomsday, each could get 2 episodes and you have a full season) and end the show with Lois finding out the secret.

My thoughts are now in the Season 10 announcement comments, but introduce New Gods like Orion, Mr. Miracle, and Lightray, and have him battle the likes of Kalibak, Kanto, and Granny Goodness with her female furies. Have Darkseid vaporize someone with Omega Beams and walk into frame for the midseason finale
P.S. The actor who portrays Bizarro already said he may be coaxed into returning lol.

@ Sarita, I may have jumped the gun when I said “official description”, it’s just that I read the hell out of spoilers, so I already know what the episode is about (at least part of it anyway).
If they bring Bizarro back, I have a theory they will claim that last time he was defeated it messed with his DNA, making him deformed and mentally disabled. This would allow him to be more sympathetic, rather than a “Kal” clone.
