I just listened to this entire episode today, the uncut version of course because you guys make me laugh so much. Which isn't so good when wandering through the mall (well tiny shopping centre) or at work when I'm ya know meant to be working, which I totally was by the way!

Anyway I had a thought, what if it isn't the colour of the sun that's important but one of the different radiation frequencies or something, so the sun going from yellow to red isn't the important part its what type of radiation thats being blocked?

Mike!
What you're saying is that you thing Jor-El didn't put the blue K impurity in her clone? That would be awesome... except Jor-El put the blue K in the Omegahedron where all the clones were supposed to be... hmm.. and also, she did have powers under the red sun as well as the yellow sun... so I think it's something more than that. She's a mystery that one...

About Alia and her having powers in the red and yellow sun. If for some reason she doesn't have the blue K impurities, that would be the reason to have the blue K rock in the future, and why Lois kicks her butt on the trian when they come back. What do you think? Love the podcast. Thanks

I'll have to agree with Steve and Derek that while I thought the Pandora episode was good, I thought it would be better. It was probably all the hype sorrounding it. Certainly you guys are not to blame for that. This was the episode we all have been waiting for so naturally expectations were high. It did pick up towards the end. I'll tell you what I would have "loved, loved, loved" to see Derek and that was for Zod to also kneel before Kal -El. That really would have thrown Clark (and all of us) for a loop. Of course, Zod wouldn't have meant it. But it would have brought Clark closer in only to be trapped by Zod. Evil!

I'll try to temper my anticipation for "Absolute Justice" but it won't be easy.

I took it that when he was stabbed a piece of the dagger was still lodged into his skin ala Superman Returns. (Remember how when Lois took the dagger out in that movie he was still able to heal and fly....but then when he went to the hospital the surgical team removed another shard from his body? He was away from the Kyrptonite at that point but still unconscious for awhile. That was how I took it.)

I have always taken it as Clark takes a little longer to hael from Kryptonite - sortof like humans and regular wounds, clark is fine with normal weapons but he reacts more like us when kryptonite is involved. Zod stabbed him in the guts where anormal person would bleed out and then twisted it ruining him more. He took it out and he was in pain plus they didn't show the dagger get thrown away did they? It was still around hurting him even if not in him. Plus we don't know if he died Lois left and he was sitting in pain

Apple iPod and Microsoft Zune SHoEligans I recently finished listening to this episode on my iPod Classic and Big Honkin' sir... you almost made me swerve out of control in my wheelchair when you had "Geek-wood and needed a second chair" LOL. I will say this episode lowered my original rating of "Pandora" (which was a 4.5 to 4, but now 4) just because of the things you guys' mentioned in the episode the story holes about the effects of Kryptonite and Kryptonians powers under the red sun and Ayliah's powers and why she had them in 9x01 but had them again when she wasn't supposed to have them under yellow sun... Also, one thing that bothered me and see most of this stuff did not bother me until you guys mentioned it, was Kal-El dying after he had been stabbed by General Zod and if you go back to the episode I think I may have to re-watch it. Kal-El doesn't get stabbed in the chest, so he wouldn't die instantly. Loved your guys theory of Ayliah murdering Jor-El... Here is a theory for you guys, you guys call her "Ayliah" (forgive my spelling) but we haven't heard her name on the series at this point. Could this be Faora, just younger where she is in love with Zod and she wanted Zod to be as strong as he could be so he could be the leader she feels her people need? She sees "The Blur" (She doesn't know before "Pandora" The Blur's is actually Kal-El) as a threat but knows that Jor-El's his father so by making it seem Zod murdered him Kal-El would want take him down. Thus, Kal-El and Zod go to war and Zod would murdered him and she and Zod would rule Earth. It may be a far out theory, but it seems to make sense. Oh, Steve if you get a chance mention some news for your sponsor Netflix available on The PlayStation 3 now as well as The XBOX 360 and TiVo.
