Thanks for the promo. I thought Echo was great as well. Very different from the first 3 episodes but good none the less. Clark was very confident and Supermanish. I’ve come to expect nothing less from him this season. Oliver’s scene at the end was really sad and I liked Clark’s talk with him. Clark is clearly the one “in charge” when it comes to being the hero in Metropolis now. What a change from 3 years ago when Ollie was sort of the hero “in charge” telling Clark what to do. I liked Chloe’s scenes. I look forward to seeing more from her next week in Roulette.
Clark reading Lois’ mind was hilarious. I laughed out loud when she felt his bicep and when he caught her adjusting her thong. So funny. The ending scene between them was priceless. Pretty much everything between Clark and Lois has been priceless this year and very sexy. In fact, they are being ultra sexy for being in the middle of the newsroom. I half expected them to go at it on Lois ‘desk or something. Hot.
Loved the callback to Metallo’s heart!!! Is Tess going totally evil now??
I’m sorry, but this episode just from the trailer looks like “Mercy” from the fifth season. Now, don’t get me wrong I loved that episode and I’m not saying this one will be awful. I just think that every time a new SAW film is going to be released. The writers have to come up with their own version. Come to think of it wasn’t “Committed” the fifth episode in Season Eight and it was a torture game episode as well. Not saying it was an awful episode. I just find that ironic. To respond to Kate’s comment about Tess. Cassidy Freeman said on the commentary for “Identity” on the Season Eight Blu-ray/DVD set that she studied a lot of John Glover’s (Lionel Luthor) work. Tess has really become the new Lionel of the series’… What are her motives? Whose side is really on? Can the audience/Kal-El trust her? Very much Lionel in seasons 5-7.
This episode looks like it could be good. I am looking forward to Chloe/Oliver scene.
This looks great, looking forward to it very much – hope it can top “Echo” that was awesome
