“Metallo” Airs Tonight!
BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN CONTINUES HIS ROLE AS JOHN CORBEN — After being struck by a truck, John Corben wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark’s (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois (Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Blur’s investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben. Marizee Almas directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson.

Why does my favorite show have to be on the CW….they put off Smallville till tomorrow in New York b/c of the stupid Met game – I gave up on baseball forever ago to watch football – that’s dumb
I know how you feel Andrew. Got the same problem here, and that IS dumb.
“real life terminator” greatest line ever
Check your listings-I’m in the Albany area, and the Smallville is on now!
Sorry, meant to say the episode is on now-so hope that’s for more people in the New York area as well!
Awesome episode! I hope we see more of Metallo later in the season.
And, this is a little thing, but I’m glad we got to see Clark smile! I hope we get to see more of that too.
Such an amazing episode. This did not feel like SV at all. It truly is a whole new show. You guys were right, while I loved Savior Metallo just blew it out of the water. It was great all on all fronts, Clark, Chloe, Lois, Tess, the progression of the storyline of Clark fulfilling his destiny and finally a villain worthy of Superman. BAG was well … beyond words.
Heee, I see how his time around the T-Triple 8s influenced this performance ;).
I so can’t wait to hear your podcast tomorrow. Please tell Brian that for this fan, he was the best SV villain ever and that I hope that he returns to SV.
Really the darkest episode since “Beast” from last season. Brian Austin Green did a fantastic job tonight. Loved the Kal-El Chloe scenes and Steve and Derek you were correct in saying this episode you enjoyed more than “Savior” because I totally concur. This is one of Allison Mack’s best performances of the series and she didn’t have to say dialogue to convey how Chloe was feeling it was all in facial expression. Microsoft Zune and Apple iPod owners/subscribers rejoice, SHoEligans we will be hearing from Brian Austin Green himself so get ready for MHoE and Derek steal that if you wish. I agree with everyone’s thoughts on this being a new series. You might as well rename it “Metropolis” but keep “Save Me” as your opening credits song. Like Steve said in Episode 127 if you think they need to get rid of that song “Screw You” Awesome episode. Mole.
Not as good as I thought it would be.
