Right away you can tell that this season is going to be different than the previous ones and I honestly have to say that it was a good way to go. The main characters are seemingly going to go through some interesting situations throughout the season which I think will help to somewhat refresh them somewhat from how they've been in the previous seasons. I'll give the premire 4 out of 5. Derek was right in saying that everything that happened in "Doomsday" would be wrapped up in the first episode. Lois' dream at the end of the episode and tension between Clark and Chloe's friendship and the preformance that Callum Blue did as Major Zod were things that made the episode worth watching and making me want to continue to watch this season. This was a good premire to the newest season of Smallville. Brian Austin Green was cool as John Corben i can"t wait to see Metallo.
