The lack of Chloe spoilers made me very nervous for this season, and with the CW’S Official Decription for the season using words like “manipulate” and “spinning her web” wrt Chloe, I became very nervous that the producers would turn her into a villian. Your review has eased my mind, a bit. Hopefully, in Allison’s last year, Chloe will be treated right by the writers and exit the show with dignity. I also hope that the friendship between Chloe and Clark will be mended, and that Chloe will have a great storyline.

I know you attended Comic Con, was it brought up that this is Allison’s last year? Thank you.

Awesome review, Derek, and an absolute joy to read! You always remind me why I love this show so much, and get me even more pumped to watch. I love the way you take us on Clark’s journey so far, and show us how we’ve been building to this moment for years. I can’t wait for this season and the changes it promises!

I’m especially looking forward to seeing the conflict between Clark and Chloe, and how they resolve it. Allison is a remarkable actress, and I’ll bet she’s having fun taking Chloe to new places. And the few moments I’ve seen of Tom in Savior make my fangirl heart soar! Bring it on, Smallville!
