I have to say thank you for the past 3yrs. You guys have made me laugh, and something to look forward to every week. This was the first podcast that I have never heard of and the only podcast that I sit and listen to. You will be missed. I’ll admit I was sad to hear that you were leaving Starkville’s House of El. A void will forever be missing in the podcasting universe.

I will say it has been an honor to know you and work beside you the times I filled in when you weren’t able to host. It was also fun to write for the website as a reviewer of episodes.

Derek, SHoE will not be the same without you. At least you got past 100 episodes!!

Thanks for all of those great shows! Your podcast brought me big laughs and insight. When I wasn’t too happy with an episode, your analysis (often times) made me change my mind. I know I going to sound like the others in saying that if it weren’t for SHoE, I may never had started listening to podcasts.

Derek, I have enjoyed the times we’ve talked and I’ve have a ton of fun working on the ACC cards for you. Being a small part of the amazing podcast that you help start has been a blast. I thank you with all my heart for your hard work, and dedication. It really shows in every episode.

Steve, I can think of no other man more capable to carry on in Derek’s absence. You have a heart of gold and a personality that is contagious. Thank you for your continued dedication to SHoE. The universe just wouldn’t be right if SHoE disappeared all together.

It’s sad to see you go Derek, this was the first podcast I ever listened to, it is also what eventually made me decide to make my own (however often I have the time to).

The show won’t be the same without you, but if anyone had to take the reigns from you I could so no one else but Steve doing it.
