Derek, what I’ve loved about listening to you on my three favorite podcasts has been the the heart and humor that you brought to an informative and professional show. I’m super sad to hear you say goodbye (sniff … sniff).
I said it in the e-mail I sent to you Derek, but I will say it again. This was my first podcast and quite honestly, SHoE will not be the same without you.
Well… Steve finally did it. He has taken over SHoE. Chocolate pie eating son of a… wait… does that mean Steve needs a cohost?
I love Steve! He’s my favorite! Have I told you all how good Steve looks in red? He does!
All kidding aside… Derek is the man. Thanks for all the episodes to all these danged shows. It has been awesome. Keep in touch… now I just sound like a fricken yearbook.
oh… and Steve…. Call me.
It’s sad to see you go Derek, this was the first podcast I ever listened to, it is also what eventually made me decide to make my own (however often I have the time to).
The show won’t be the same without you, but if anyone had to take the reigns from you I could so no one else but Steve doing it.

Derek, I have enjoyed the times we’ve talked and I’ve have a ton of fun working on the ACC cards for you. Being a small part of the amazing podcast that you help start has been a blast. I thank you with all my heart for your hard work, and dedication. It really shows in every episode.

Steve, I can think of no other man more capable to carry on in Derek’s absence. You have a heart of gold and a personality that is contagious. Thank you for your continued dedication to SHoE. The universe just wouldn’t be right if SHoE disappeared all together.

Hey Derek. Thanks for all of the great hours of podcasting. I honestly wanted Smallville to go on to season 10 just because I loved to hear you with Steve. You guys are the the best, and I will miss you. When I listen to your podcast it was like I was hanging out with friends. Thanks again.

Thanks for all of those great shows! Your podcast brought me big laughs and insight. When I wasn’t too happy with an episode, your analysis (often times) made me change my mind. I wish you the best in all of your future endeavors. Hopefully we’ll hear you in an episode of SHoE sooner rather than later. Once again, thanks so much.

I’ll admit I was sad to hear that you were leaving Starkville’s House of El. A void will forever be missing in the podcasting universe.
I will say it has been an honor to know you and work beside you the times I filled in when you weren’t able to host. It was also fun to write for the website as a reviewer of episodes.
Derek, SHoE will not be the same without you. At least you got past 100 episodes!!

I have to say thank you for the past 3yrs. You guys have made me laugh, and something to look forward to every week. This was the first podcast that I have never heard of and the only podcast that I sit and listen to. You will be missed. As I know over the yrs in my life that people move on in life, so with that being said. I would like to say good luck in your journey in life. Coming from Mpls,MN.
