The necklace/pendant was a phoenix, i believe. The whole “rising from the ashes” motif.
I have to say, the way you describe the journey of Lana, I’m becoming much more sympathetic to her. Never thought it was possible.
Great solo podcast (i’m about halfway through it). I love SHOE. Seriously.
I took another look at that pendant and it was definitely in the phoenix motif more than just a random bird. Most likely a foreshadowing of her later burst through the medical chamber in a “phoenix-like” way.
