Doomsday Is Coming…
We’ve been talking about it for 6 months here on Starkville’s House of El, and next week, Doomsday is upon us.
If you saw last night’s trailer for 8×10 – ‘Bride’, you know of what we speak. It was enough to flood my phone with text messages and phone calls – enough to fill up our mail inbox – and enough to make one Steve Glosson call me screaming “WE NEED TO RECORD TONIGHT!”
Rest assured, Episode 109 of SHoE is being planned as we speak as there is a LOT to discuss and we don’t want to miss any detail, so be patient with us as we get it together. Remember when i said in the spoilers that I didn’t think we’d actually see Doomsday?
Yeah…I stand by that. I don’t know what that thing is…it looks like Doomsday…a lot…but it’s probably just another meteor freak.

Erica and Justin were guests at the Manitoba Comic Con this year. I asked a question about whether or not Bride was going to have a major effect on the future episodes, and they said yes (of course), and went on to confirm that Doomsday will be making an attack on the wedding.
Steve, I have to admit, right when I saw ‘Bloomday’ in full Doomsday form, I thought of that little comment you made during the “Bloodline” podcast about Davis not “Dooming out”. Well my friend, HE DID! I think this goes perfectly with Geoff Jones’ comment about “Bride” being the most ambitious thing we have ever seen Smallville do because under other normal circumstances, we wouldn’t see this type of villian fully evolve into what Superman mythos knows him as..not entirely, anyway. Feel free to agree or disagree by all means!
Derek, I have to take your slogan..’Oh Mylanta’..it’s actually the first thing that I could say after watching that trailer..God, next week couldn’t come soon enough!
Sorry Steve but that has to be Doomsday but don’t worry about it because I told everybody I know that there was know way Chloe was going to lose her memory of Clarks powers and I still stubbornly stand by that. What a fantastic episode and this year has to be one of the best ever on Smallville and episode 109 is going to be full of fun debates I’m sure.
I am absolutely pumped to see next weeks episode!

no kidding next week is going to be amazing. i never would have thought that smallville season 8 would become maybe the best. All 9 episodes were well just great. and next will be crazy.
This is going to be amazing. I didn’t think we would actually ever see Doomsday but this has surpassed my expectations. This is definetly not an episode to miss!
Wow, i just saw smallville since the NYC people got the late viewing, well first off…….James Marsters voice….EPIC….chloe no memory of clark…nuts! whoduthought!?? Doomsday coming….looks amazing as hell, wow, this season is jacked and I’m loving it! who ever thought season 8 was gonna be a dud? wow, amazing TV
yeah this season has been great and seein doomsday like that cant wait !!and the end of this episode for abyss, watched that a few times cant wait too what happends in the fortress too w/ all that goin on. Plus Bloomsday! !that was cool in the Previews !cant wait til next week, and Shoe 109!
Hey Guys and Girls, I’m a Smallville fan from South Africa – we just finished rewatching Season 7, and will probably watch it again, because Season 8 won’t be reaching our shores until at least mid-’09! Anyway, I’ve been following all the info on S8 and it looks incredible! Cannot wait to see Doomsday rage!
