What Did You Think?

Season seven has now come to a close, and was one of the biggest (if not short-lived) seasons in Smallville history. There’s all kinds of discussions about Veritas, the Traveler, the “Omegaheddron”, Michael Rosenbaum’s farewell performance, and “Arctic” in general over at our forums so why not jump in now and get the ball rolling on your thoughts for season 8, which will premiere late September on the CW.

In the mean time, don’t forget you can pick up your season 7 DVD’s on standard definition and BluRay that will release just in time for the 8th season in mid-September, with 20 episodes, deleted scenes, documentaries, and episode commentary. Also, your order will help support this site so it’s win-win!

It was great..I wanted a final break from Lana..but at this point, i’ll take what we got!
As for Lex..i am sure we will see him again…and i love my girl Chloe she was great..They should have killed off Jimmy or Lois..they are both annoying..

  4. Boy Wonder Says:

Um, how the heck could they kill off Jimmy or Lois?

I can understand having a death wish for Mr. Whipped Cream, but after that scene with Lois comforting Clark after Lana’s video message… have you no heart?

  5. Ryan Says:

It was ok, I guess. It had its moments, but overall, I’d say it was one of the weakest season finales ever.

I have to say even though you’re looking at the shortest season in the series’ history and because of the writer’s strike even I thought the series would end after year seven but because of the series will love on. Probably because the CW losing viewers and since they want to keep a large portion of their demographic for Thursdays they kept Smallville on. In any event I’m glad that this series’ is continuing albeit for one more year. This season would be if there was a title for this season very much like season four a season of leaving what you were behind and going towards being not a teenage adult but an adult for better or worse. All the main stay characters go through that. And by the end of the season we know Season Eight will most likely be like a Greatest Hits year. In closing though it is going to be odd. No Michael Rosenbaum, No John Glover, and most importantly no Miles and Al. But for my money this season is one of my top three favorite seasons.
