Amazon.com has drastically reduced the price of the first six seasons of Smallville to a jaw-dropping $19.99 – meaning you can pick up all six seasons for less than $150! Be sure to order yours as soon as you can – all orders via SHoE support this show. It has recently been called to our attention that Smallville series creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are departing the series after the conclusion of the seventh season.
KryptonSite has posted a letter to the fans of Smallville from Al and Miles themselves, delivering this sad sad news to us.
The letter has been handed down to us and is after the jump:
UPDATE: Kelly Souders, Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin, and Darren Swimmer have been named as the show runners for season 8.

While we pride ourselves in convering all the Superman and Smallville news one show can find, we’re fans of all things DC – including Batman himself. TVShowsOnDVD has reported that the original 1966 Batman film is on it’s way to hi-def. Not only that, but ‘Gotham Knight’ (the 6 chapter bridge betwen ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Dark Knight’) is coming in one and two disc versions, plus BluRay! So why not get caught up on the Dark Knight before the new movie comes out! Buying from below supports SHoE – as well as the items from the post below!

That’s a question a lot of you email Steve and I and ask. As you may now realize, us getting the job writing the next Superman film was an April Fool’s gag – we had to make light of a negative situation! So it’s business as usual here at Starkville’s House of El.
