Starkville’s House of El Podcast

There’s a huge new episode of SHoE coming your way, that clocks in at well over an hour and covers a lot, including some big news regarding our podcasts and the Smallville universe.

However, in all the stuff to cover, there’s one important piece of information  we failed to bring up.

I will not be penning the new Superman film.

This was a very long and consuming process that was gone through from October until just last week, when our final meeting with Bad Hat Harry Productions (Bryan Singer’s company) yielded our efforts. Their team and our agent were back and forth several weeks discussing our story, our characters, and our look at The Man of Steel. However, Bryan and their creative team decided to go a different direction.

We’d like to thank all our friends and fans for support - our story was well recieved by everyone that read it, and we made some new friends in the process. We were told several times by folks at Warner Bros. and BHH that we “had a great story” and we’re proud of it. It was a fun and very enlightening experience that Tucker and I wouldn’t trade for anything. Thanks again to all of you for sharing your thoughts and opinions with us.

The good news is, there is a story for the Superman Returns sequel, and Bryan has begun work on the film as we speak - so at least we don’t have to wait another 19 years for a sequel!
