The Death Of Lionel Luthor! Persona foreshadowed, in my opinion, the lengths to which Lex will go. “Any man who could kill his own father is capable of anything”. I was disappointed somewhat that Clark and Bizzaro did not “duke it out”. I envisioned a superpowered fight in which Clark would have just let loose and maybe Clark would have almost showed a hint of flight. What I’m getting at is that it would have been cool to see Clark let loose on Bizarro, and in doing so, his fight would have made Clark go further and evolve into another level. The writers could have had fun with this. Of course, Blue Kryptonite robs Clark of his powers temporarily, so that couldn’t have happened.
With all that being said, I still enjoyed and thought it made more sense to have Lana “bring Bizarro down” because it lead to a more important plot line twist. The realization that Clark could never be totally committed to Lana with “the weight of the world on his shoulders”, like you mentioned. Plus the fact Lana was in love with the more emotionally open Bizarro Clark. Yes, I believe also that this realization “freaked Lana out”.
Predictions… Clana will have to split or spend more time apart. Lionel will meet his demise at the hands of Lex, and so much more. “Then again I could be wrong, f..k it, who wants cake?”

Geeks Rule!!! hey and some of us girl geeks would love to look over your comics and also know too much trivia about obscure SF topics. Saw the Siren trailer… BLEH I hate the short hair! Nice to hear Will and cool to hear what he’s doing. I’d go see him, too bad its so far from Florida. Review was good Steve, but sheesh I don’t analyze clothes as much as you do! Red shirt, blue shirt. I actually don’t think Lana was lying when she came out and said she’d been happier with Bizarro than she was with Clark. It was a matter of knowing that this was messed up but she was going to do the right thing.

They could have fought, Bizarro and Clark, but we already saw that in Phantom and then a little more in Bizarro, it would have been cool yes but that would have taken time away from the fabulous events from the rest of the episode, why waste time showing us what we’ve already seen, great episode Steve, keep it up…
