UPDATED: Starvkille, Superman, & Singer
You SHoEligans continue to amaze me - the outpour that we got from you guys when Tucker and I announced we wanted to pitch Superman was incredible, and the only way anyone would listen to us about writing Superman is from you guys showing your devotion, so thank you.
Several sites posted their thoughts on the matter, from our own forums, to IMDB, to personal websites and I can’t thank all of you enough for trying to get the message out there that this is near and dear to our hearts. You’ve solidified yourselves as our personal publicists.
In addition to Jc’s post, Elle’s at Red Cape Music, and Chuck’s; one in particular I read is “The A-Train’s” blog, I’m not sure whose site this is but I just want to thank them for their kind words:
“…Who do I want to write it? Who am I behind? A pair of writers who loved Singer’s film. Two guys who want to tie up all those loose ends and propel the story forward. Two guys with the writing talent and the fanboy knowledge. My vote goes to Derek Russell and Tucker Colburn…”
There’s not much I can tell you right now except that we’ve made our pitch and that’s all we know at this point. They have it and we’re
waiting anxiously to hear. A lot of you have asked that if they were to really consider that, would it mean the end of SHoE? I can tell you that of all the projects I’ve worked on in my years, SHoE has by far been my favorite, and the most rewarding; so I’ll hang on to it as long as I can. Keep showing your love and wish us luck!
Thanks to Knuckles Dawson for the enhanced Superman logo!

You’re welcome guys. You can count on my full support and I can only hope that Singer and the rest at WB listen to us all. I’ll continue to lobby for you guys over at my blog, and I find it extremely flattering that you even read my entry. Thanks guys. Good luck!

That would be too bad if you had to stop SHoE. You guys get me through the week. Although this is such a huge opportunity for you. I would sell me first born to write a supe script. So just do what you always do and give your best and something will undoubtedly come out of it.
P.S.
Could we get a taste of some of your writing? Not from the Man of Steel script, but just of anything.
GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING MY FRIEND
