This Week On SHoE - Hey everyone, Derek here - Houston and I both are unfortunately extremely sick this week (coincidence, promise) and cannot fufill our duties as hosts because, basically there’d be nothing to listen to if we attempted to episode. I want to thank Tim for always standing in when unforseen occourences arise. Tim goes over the frist official description and trailer for season seven, as well as my interview with Kevin Sorbo from Dragon*Con, new spoilers from Kryptonsite, a few SHoE reminders and more in this, the first of two make-up episodes this week.

Superman: Doomsday is the first of an upcoming line of DC Animated full-length features that Warner Bros. will be releasing, Adam Baldwin plays the Man of Steel, with Smallville’s Braniac James Marsters as Lex Luthor and Anne Heche as Lois Lane. Based on the best selling graphic novel of all time, The Death of Superman, Superman: Doomsday will release on Sept. 18th, the same day as Smallville: Season 6 and John Schneider’s Collier & Co - with all these great features coming at the same time - why not save some money and buy through SHoE?
David emailed us last night to let us know that a fall season preview on TV Guide showed the Supermen filming their upcoming episode together.

Episode 7×04 - ‘Cure’ airs October 18th, 2007 on the CW.
According to our friends at TVShowsOnDVD.com - Warner Bros apparently slipped up on their High Definition consumer website, unveiling titles that are in the works for these formats including films that haven’t even hit your local theaters yet, including Get Smart, and The Dark Knight.
A few television series were on the list (as well as the upcoming DC Animated Film - Justice League: The New Frontier) but at the top of the list were the first seasons of Friends and Smallville which are reportedly heading for the dual release of BluRay and HD. This is in no way a formal announcement, just something to be on the lookout for in the coming months - a lot of this will probably hinge on the success of the HD release of the season 6 DVD on Sept. 18th - so why not pre-order now & support SHoE? Thanks to all of you who emailed this in.
I was holding out hope until I actually saw footage, and low and behold here it is (on a night when no one watches the CW mind you).
Unfortunately the video hasn’t been made avaliable to us yet, but Kryptonsite does have some fantastic screencaps from the VERY short teaser, which isn’t even of the premiere, the footage is from the 2nd episode of the season “Kara”.
