UPDATE: Tom Welling In JLA Movie?
Tim reported last night on the simultaneous post from IESB.com & G4’s ‘Attack of the Show’ about Warner Bros. considering Tom Welling to protray the Man of Steel in the upcoming Justice League of America film.
Similiar announcements have been made at SupermanHompage.com & Kryptonsite.com from Al Gough about the report not being true, as Tom is contracted through season 8 on ‘Smallville’.
Our own contact, “Drake”, at the Vancouver offices called and added with this comment earlier today: “I know the big bosses (Al & Miles) are going around saying today that there is no truth to this casting which is good before a rumor like this gets out of hand, as it can’t & won’t happen due to Tom’s involvment with the show.”
That seems to be the final word on the matter, though IESB.com says they’ve double and triple checked this with their sources, so we assume until an official word on this film is made (as one hasn’t happened yet) anything is fair game. Stick with SHoE for more info as it becomes avaliable.
