Our friend Ed at Voices From Krypton has posted a new interview with “Smallville” Co-Creator & Exec. Producer Al Gough.  Some big spoilers lie within involving, Kara, Lex, and most importantly Clark and a possible “new” ability.  Check it out and thanks to Ed for the information!

The CW was kind enough to send over the first image of Laura Vandervoort’s Supergirl appearing in Smallville this season.

There’s also a press release for Laura’s casting that E-Online has posted which can be found here.

It was announced by the CW today that “Smallville’s” sister show with the later timeslot, “Supernatural”, will not have it’s third season premiere until October 4th, a week after the 7th season premiere of “Smallville”.

This begs the question – will episode 7×01 – ‘Bizarro’ be a 2 hour premiere?  Fans have been dying for it since the season 4 finale ‘Commencement’ – has Warner Bros. and the powers that be finally heard our request? One can only hope but a few emails to the CW would never hurt fans!

Hey guys sorry for the rush on this episode but I felt you all weren’t getting enough SHoE in your lives so I tried to put it out earlier in the week for all the news – I’m still fighting something I got inside the phantom zone so periodically throughout this week’s ep you’ll hear me refer to Season 7 as season 6.

Trust me, I know the difference – I’m just tired and I’m very sorry.

People Magazine has announced that 22 year old Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort has been cast as Kara Zor-El.

TV Guide’s Mike Ausiello has recently disclosed the casting choice for the role of Grant, the Daily Planet editor, who will supposedly be groomed as a love interest for Lois Lane in the coming season. This character will be played by Michael Cassidy, who recently starred in the CW drama Hidden Palms and also starred in a brief stint on The OC.

This Daily Planet Editor character will make his appearance in episode 7×02 “Kara”
