Official Write-Up for Smallville Season 7
The CW has officially announced today during the CW upfronts today that they have ordered another, 22-episode season of Smallville.
In addition, the CW has released their official write-up for the seventh season of Smallville. Look closely for a departing cast member and an arriving cast member this coming season.Returning for its seventh season, this new interpretation of the enduring Superman mythology and its classic characters blends realism and adventure into an exciting action series. Fourteen years ago, a meteor shower burst from the heavens, raining destruction on the unsuspecting citizens of Smallville, Kansas. From the ashes of tragedy, emerged Clark Kent. Struggling to come to grips with his emerging superpowers, while battling the strange events that have plagued this idyllic Midwest hamlet since the meteor shower,
Clark slowly learns to embrace his destiny. SMALLVILLE chronicles Clark’s journey toward becoming the Man of Steel and his relationships with girl-next-door Lana Lang, future love, Lois Lane and soon-to-be arch-nemesis Lex Luthor

cast write-up looks great!!! not that Lana would have been missed but i’d hate to see Clark broken-hearted over her clever tragedy…. I need FLYING as well not jsut an episode but as his new found power for keeps this time…. and i need Lois Lane to turn up her charm and get the Man Of Steel’s heart … i need some classic story lines before the series comes to a permanent finale

not seeing Clark Kent fly is waning my interest in Smallville. i think that in order to regain the love of many. they seriously need some FLYING action. i don’t think we’ll miss lana lang so it’s okay to take her out of the scene.

I liked the write up and was relieved to see that we still have Allison Mack. She is my favorite female on the show. I have always wanted to see the Clark and Chloe relationship develop. But in this last episode - I see how the spirit of Chloe will live on in Lois through the healing with her power and the sparks can emerge with the Lois and Clark thing. My guess is Lana will be dead to everyone but us and maybe ? Allowing the Lois and Clark thing to further develop and Clark will be less distracted with Lana gone and be able to focus on his “destiny” –
I would like to see the flying too - but if I remember correctly “No Flights No Tights” and when Clark is ready for that - Smallville ends and Superman begins–

I really hope that Clark flies in season 7 and that Clark start’s recognizing Lois. I want to see Clark in his superman suit!!! Or at least start developing his costume. It’s been long enough we need some real delivery. I got really pumped at the beginning of season 6 thinking things were going to really change but there wasn’t near the change I thought there would be. So I have been a little let down. By the way, I like Lois. She receives way to much criticism.

Also i would like to see chloe and clerk get things up and going. then they can get lois in somewhere. I hope that this show starts early……..i just can’t wait. i agree with almost everyone. First of all, lets clear the air. Lana Lang is not dead. The mail truck, it was so obvious, its similar to when everyone thought chloe was dead at the end of season 3. I would like to see clark fly,he has to, in order to beat bizzaro-clark. that will be a good fight.CK will kill Bizzaro within the first couple of episodes. i think the rest of the season should be focused on Jor-El preparing CK for his future destiny.

I know that louis lane and clark are supposed to be together but lana lang and clark have such a good story together .i think lana should come back and be with clark for a while . Personally i agree that the mail truck was a little obvious…but maybe they did that to make us think that, Lana was alive in the original movies but then again so was Johnathan Kent… As for… Bizzaro … if anyone knows anything about the original Superman comics… he dies killing bizzaro…. heres hoping thats not the one thing they will keep… be a shame if they kill him long before hes actually superman… as for Chloe?? hello we played that out and Lois maybe a little play on that would be cool but there wouldn’t be a story if there a happily ever after am i right or what? Just like buffy and angel the tension makes the show more worth watching! DUH! you may hate but you do love it or you’d just stop watching :P

first lana’s not dead, she just set up lex to screw with him and get away, clark wont kill bizarro, probably zone him. probably learn to fly 6 episodes in, they have had brainiac,zod, and bizarro, expect darkseid towards the end. Also the real clark kent will be born.

heyy!i really hope that chloe isnt dead.i am thinking that lana wont come bk next season even thought she isnt dead because how will clark kent ever fall in love with lois lane if lana lang is always around!she has to step out of the picture!and i am thinking maybe chloe’s end will be in the next season not now!!!but this is just my opinions

Yeah, Lana’s not dead, you know. Didn’t you watch the last episode, where the car explosion occured? Don’t you remember the truck that drove by? If you look more closely, you’ll notice that she hoped into the truck just before her car exploded.
I hate to say it, but Chloe is dead. She power was to give life back to someone who’s dead, with the price of her own life, so Lois walked out of the building alive, and Chloe… Well, let’s say that she won’t be on season 7. Lana does however die later on in season 7. Maybe she got revived somehow. I’m not sure. That’s what I can tell from thus far. I guess we’ll have to find out when season 7 comes out, know won’t we?

I’m hoping like everyone else that we finally see Clark Kent fly. More than that I hope we get a climpse of the blue suit the last few episodes of the season as a teaser for season 8.
It’s obvious that Lana isn’t dead, I’m just hoping that they leave her out of the season so we finally see Lois and Clark hookup.

I dont think bizzaro will die but the first episode is going to focus just on clark and bizzaro’s fight. But I think Season 7 is going to kick ass. I mean with titles such as kara, knight, legion, Outsiders, elseworlds, and superman you know it is. I cant wait to watch them.

Hi everydody, i’m from madagascar island and has been a fan of smallville over the past 3 years. I try to be up to date by downloading episodes over the net. Series are quite late over this side of the world. Can any one tell me when will begin season 7. I really think Lana is still alive, but sad about cloé. Do you think this wiil be the last season… the spoilers/title seem to tell it.

when was the season six premiere by you? The seventh season begins in the third or fourth week of september in the U.S. so it will probably begin the same time id did for you last year, just as it did in the U.S.

Well, if I’m not wrong, I read in spoilers that neither Allison Mack (Chloe) nor Lana Lang are dead. Plus, their names are included in the official website for cast of the 7th season. Also, Martha Kent will be leaving the show, and Jimmy will be a permanent member…they are assuming he’ll have a 13-episode contract similar to Erica Durance’s (Lois Lane). Also, they are looking for a (HOT! they have stated) thrity-somethingish male to play a handsome news reporter (I believe) who will be Lois’ new love interest…but he’ll only be in a couple of the first episodes.
I for one hope that Lana’s being alive doesn’t affect the Lois-Clark chemsitry that has been building. And I’m not too happy about the thought of Lois having another romantic interest…unless it allows Clark to get jealous (winks)…

I hope like all of you, that the Lois and Clark relationship will heat up, but i doubt it. I do believe, though, that Clark will start to fall in love with Lois, but in the movies, Lois doesn’t really like Clark, she likes Superman. So I don’t think their relationship will heat up. But i hope that i’m wrong.

Ok, Guys here’s something for your ears ok clark will fly in season 7 he will gain his ability to fly through his fight with bizzaro. after defeating bizzaro later in the season we will revive the ice palace and again speak with his father this time about using his powers in the open without anyone knowing who he is. Chloe nor Lana are dead but lana will later die in the season and Lois will be there to pick up the pieces hint the lois and clark relationship chloe and jimmy get very serious. let me know if you like what u hear its all true.

First of all if you took notice of before when Lana went into her truck there was a black car with a driver in it and as she opened the car door the milk truck went by for my experience of Smallville i think she opened the door as the truck went by and ran while Lionel was on the other side.And the new man thats going to be Lois Lane’s new love is in fact named Mike Ausiello from T.V Guide producer the thirty something hot mail will be very hot after all.And just to tell everyone about Chloe’s death she did not die she passed out and went into a small coma.And Clark’s mother does not return to Smallville.Lana is goin to be back next season so dont worry.And for Clark he dies at the end of season 7 because Lex gets out of prison and finds out Clark’s weakness.Bizarro and Lex teams up to kill Clark and the plan works but when they try to control the world Bizarro turns against Lex because Clark’s DNA is in him and Clark’s hate for Lex is in Bizarro so say goodbye to Lex WE WONT MISS YOU.

Okay guys, I think some fans are a little confused…
Clark cannot put on the costume, he can’t get into his ‘metropolis-based’ reporting life, nor can he get the ‘hots’ for Lois yet, WHY ??? Because the whole point of Smallville to get to know Clark Kent not bloody Superman! Technically, in Smallville time, Superman doesn’t exist yet.
I think what most fans fail to realise is as soon as our Clark starts doing the things we expect from the Superman we all know and love, the Smallville experience is over, so what’s with the rush!?!
I think Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, Ken Horton, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola, Kelly Souders, Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin, Darren Swimmer and the rest of the Warners Bros. team are doing a brilliant job. Every week we get to see another little life lesson, another little piece of what makes the Superman that we all know and love.

Ok, first of all clark doesn’t die at all yes lex figures out his weakness but never really gets to use it against him until later basically when he becomes the superman character bizzaro will be long gone before lex gets out of prison. and yes lois geta a new love interest but it won’t last because she will fall for clark after lana’s true death later in the season, the part where lex teams up with bizzaro is in the comics (plus bizzaro didn’t appear in the comic until clark was already superman) clark will not be in the suit to soon guys i just said he will ask his father about using his powers out in the open to help other without them knowing who he is and he will take this on before he come across the tights and cape but not before he goes through a test that Jor-el has for him plus he also goes through training which will happen before he destroys bizzaro

Well there is no way they would kill off Lana. She is a constant in the comic series and as much as they have moved from the comic, they have kept the characters true to it. Lana always make appearances in the comics every now and then.
I really hope Chole doesnt die, but as stated already, there is a good chance she put her own spirit into Louis and they will start the sparks of Louis and Clark.
I know they approached Tom Welling about starring in the new movie series and he said only if they ended the series. I think the best thing for them to do is to end Smallville and move it to Metroplis and rename it as Metroplis. Start his news career and such. We’ll see what they do later on.

As much as I don’t want to see lana die, you can see someone’s head fall on the steering wheel after Lionel looks up after the explosion. It must have been either a reaaaaaly good set up with a real body in there, or the cops can’t ID a fake body from a real one.
As for bizarro, couldn’t everyone see that at the end of the episode he turns into a crystalline figure? Yep he’s just going to fall apart in mid air. Jks
i have no idea what will happen with that guy.
I really want to see some permanent flying action, but as for tights, the longer they stay out of this the better. Besides turning clark into superman,they would bee too cheesy.
I’m sure martha will appear in at least one episode, and I read that Lionel moves to Europe. They need more people.

I am guessing that Lana Lang is not dead. She faked her own death. Seconds before her car exploded a delivery truck drove right in front of her so I bet she jumped in there. Anyways cannot wait to watch season 7! Hopefully there is more Clark and Lois interaction.

Lol why dont we just wait for the show to come out and not jump to conclusions… There may be truth in some of these posts about season 7, but i dont think its safe to not jump to any conclusions yet. Lets all be patient and wait for the highly anticipated new season of smallville.

Look, I agree with you guys for the most part. Lana totally faked her death, but maybe it will get Lex in jail, despite how much I like him, Lex did set Bizarro on the world, he deserves at least a little time; I should mention I really don’t like Lana, she’s too whinny, Lois and Chloe are way cooler. Lana can’t be dead because that will make Clark miserable, but she and Clark CANNOT be together again, they’ve tried it too many times, that storyline is dead; I mean how many times can the writers put them together and break them up? Chloe and Clark are a cute idea but I really think they make better friends; they really are the dynamic duo; as for Lois and Clark: it’s destiny, so it will happen eventually, I can live with that knowledge, but I would like to see them a least approach the issue more than they have. ‘Crimson’ was not enough, plus the ‘Hydro’ kiss could’ve been way more drawn out; everyone saw the look on Clark’s face after that. I would kill to see some flying too! It’s necessary to keep the attention.I’m so excited about season seven, sad that its the last, but totally happy its actually going to exist. I’ll miss Martha but maybe she can come back for a few episodes? Nice work to the cast and crew, its been great!

season 7 should be awesome, but I know it would be better than season 6. I’m huge smallville and superman fan but season 6 didn’t cut it for me.

everybody seem to think that lana is the reason clark haven’t embrace who he’s destiny to be(superman)i for one thinks it’s refreshing to watch the story of clark kent(never really been told) with lana lang in the mix.lois/clark story have been told many times(70+yrs)and it’s really nice to watch a show thats not all about lois/clark for a change(sorry)i hope in the future dc comics will tone it down(lois/clark) and give us some action(superman kicking***)

first of all clark does not die he dies in the comics against the doom day monster. Lana come back but she doesnt die she just kind of grows apart from clark and smallville. clark doesnt wear the suit onec but he learns to fly. chloe is still alive but dies in the 7th season. louis and clark dont fall in love they never do louis falls in love with superman in the movies. clark kills bazzoro but first he learns to fly from kara his cousin supergirl. this will probably be the last season of smallville with clark going to matropolice and becomin g superman.

clark’s cousin will be in about half of the season.
clark won’t be wearing the superman suit ever in smallville because on tom welling’s contract to play clark kent he will not wear the suit at all.

I am addicted to Smallville and have bought the 1st, 5th and waiting for the 6th in September to be released. Soon to purchase the other seasons. I think this has been the best series ever. Tom is HOT and FANTASTIC. The girls are so lucky to play along side of him. Especially the ones that get to kiss those big lips. I think the writers are doing a great job without our help. I really hope the ratings continue to go up so they can do Season 8 and so on. I would love to see him develop into SUPERMAN and fall for Lois Lane. After all, when he and Lois were on Red Kryptonite (Red Lipstick Lois wore), they had a hot moment. Lois couldn’t remember but I think CK did!

I dislike lois. She seems so… shallow. Her character simply lacks depth in the movies and lacks it in the series. At least Lana has some sort of history. Chloe as well.
Personally, I wouldn’t mind if they rekilled lois, brought both chloe and lana back, and then ended the series this season.
It’ll never happen.

Well….Ido like Lois she is the one with more history 70+yrs…by the way she is the one who gets knocked up in the movies by Clark Kent aka Superman can’t wait for Superman:the man of steel in 2009…but, in smallville, Clark should start to learn to fly with his cousin(woohoo)and Lois build up more her character in the DP and see more of lex dirty deeds ….I do respect everyones opinions because its fun to read them …..last thing its so cute seeing Chloe and Jimmy togather because based on the comics Jimmy does date Lois sister Lucy so instead of sister let him have the cousin.

I’m a big fan of Chloe and Clark since season 1 I think they should be together.I thought there would be something between them last season six but there wasn’t. I mean based from season 5’s final episode, that car and that kiss!!But I’m still hoping they would end up lovers, You know Clark saying ” You meam a lot more to me that you know.” Yeah, I am a Chlarkist till the end.

Clark does need to fly but need more episodes of using more the just super speed. more xray ,heat vision, breathe and super strenth, and hearing. i know they plan on giving clark freeze breathe this season. And from my source LANA LANG LIVES, AS DOES CHOLE SULLIVAN. We also get a bonus of Kara which is Kal-el’s Kyrtonian cousin bent on destroying earth. Clark being clark talks her out of all that nonsense and shows her how things work. Also clark and lana will hook up around episode 8 or 9 but clark will be on yellow kyrtonite which doesnt let him remeber anything that happens. Also Lex gets knocked in the head, shot and stabbed(which is cool, cause he is a fool). ALSO look forward to the new Smallville game which will hit stores next year around the end of season 7. It is basically all of Smallville episodes compiled into a game … it should be mad tight

hey everybody i havent had a chance to watch smallville season 7 episode 1 yet,bummer.
The reason being is that i live in australia and unfortuently smallville was cut from air midway through season six so i have had to rely on torrent downloads to keep me up to speed on the best show ever.

I was a bit disappointed in this season premiere!
Clark and Lana need to be together especially since
Smallville is pre-superman. Lois and Clark are not
an item until later years!!! Besides I cannot stand the
way they make Lois act, she is super annoying and her
dialogue gets on my nerves. Erica Durance does not make
a good lois. LANA and CLARK PLEASE!!!!

lana tried to get her clon to be the patsy,but the clon turned things around and now the lana we see is actually the clon, because she kiled the actual lana. should see is eposides to come how powerfull lana is that should give it away that she is not lana, but whats he adgenda, is she after clark, lex, or just wants to survie,and maybe something more sinnerser. kara is evil!!!! I think that there should be a flying episode and more than just ont, there should be a few and i think im speaking for alot of people because this is what superman is mainly about. I was thinking and because the show is called smallville and it is about clark growing up and well i was thinking if you thought about a tv series or a movie called metropolis and it is where clark is grown up and he has the suit on. Smallville is the best!
