Smallville Season 6 DVD News
At the recent WonderCon 07 convention, a DC Comics panel was held where it was revealed that several DC Comics writers were asked by Warner Bros. to do commentaries for the upcoming Smallville season six DVD.
No word on what commentary they’ll do. Thanks to IGN for the tip!

season 6 was really really good, i can’t wait untill it comes out on DVD. i was wondering, along wit my husband, if there is going to be a season 7.

Nothing official has been released yet, but we can guess September 11 (as that was when the last several DVDs have been released around that time) or some time after that. But we can expect it around Mid-September.
As for season 7, it loojks pretty good. The writers and produers at Smallville are operating as if there will be a season 7 so we can expect one. But I estimate seven will be its last.

There are no specific date for the release of the DVD but it can come out as early as end of August and beginning/mid september. A season 7 has already been confirmed by THE CW and the creators who developed a big story arc for Lois Lane. A Season 8 is also on the air as THE CW wanted the show to have 8 seasons in total and the creators gave news that they had plans of doing a season 8 and ending it there! given the fact that Smallville is the number one show on THE CW and if the show promises the same ratings we have had last season and this season then it will be a very safe bet to say ‘Yes there will be an 8th season’ after all thats what the producers and writers want given this writers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer said that there are a more seasons of Smallville left and they know when the show will it end!

smallville is running till season 8 2010 and tom welling is the only one who haws renewed his contract so i read on the kryponsite

I am wanting to have a guest starring role on the 7th or 8th season of this show because we all know that if a fresh face comes on the show, like me, then the ratings will go through the roof and there will probably be a 9th and 10th season with my help if I’m a regular actor on there.

hi i was thinking because smallville is the best tv series on television i’ve ever seen and when it finishes in season 8. I was wondering if you had an idea of making a tv series called metropolis because that i where clark moves when he gets the tights and is older. Please have think about it. thank you
