The CW has posted the official description for the Smallville episode “Promise” due to air on March 15, 2007.

LEX AND LANA’S WEDDING DAY - On the day of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lana’s (Kristin Kreuk) wedding, Lex receives a call from Dr. Langston (guest star Fred Henderson) who threatens to tell Lana the truth about her baby. Lana begins to have second thoughts about marrying Lex and Clark comes to his own realization that he can’t let Lana marry Lex and decides to tell her about his secret. However, no one is prepared for what happens when Lionel Luthor (John Glover) steps in. Erica Durance and Annette O’Toole also star. Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders wrote the episode directed by Rick Rosenthal

Due to Barnhill’s, the itis (you’ll get the reference later), and the SHoE crew giving Derek a hard time with what to do with the AAC format for Episode 39, SHoE will be a hours later than usual. We appreciate everyone always being patient with us in these times, we’ll be back with you soon enough.  It’s going to be a great episode!

It appears that Superman will be dominating the upcoming Saturn Awards, being held in Universal City, CA on Thursday May 10th, 2007.

Smallville has been nominated for two awards, while Superman Returns has been nominated for ten awards, while the Superman II: Donner Cut, Superman Ultimate Collector’s Edition Boxed Set, and the Adventures of Superman Six-Season boxed set have each garnered their own individual nominations in the DVD Release Subcategory.

On a side-note, Heroes has been nominated for five Saturn awards.
