In Part 2 of our Interview Derek and Tucker get down to undisclosed business with Steven DeKnight, Writer/Director and Co-Executive Producer for Smallville, about his work on “Justice”, Smallville’s 11th episode for season 6. We then go in depth about season 6’s premiere episode, “Zod” and discuss Steven’s work on Smallville since season 4, including all the episodes he’s written and directed, his love for comics, feature films and any anything else you can think of!
Steven DeKnight talking about his pitched Flash series, I would have loved to have seen that, like I would watch Mercy Reef every week. But like SDK said it gets handled by people who don’t know or care about the material.
I really liked hearing the insight about writing and the effort and dedication to just one episode such as Justice. Its awesome to have a writer/director so excited about what they are doing. Keep the good things coming guys!
